The Santa Barbara Yacht Club has been a fixture of the community since 1872, both on the water and off. SBYC a private non-profit club, hosts local racing, cruising and charity events. Visitors notice a familiar feel that exudes from this gathering place for its membership of over 700 water lovers. Perched on the sand along the edge of the Santa Barbara Harbor, the club house is a great venue for viewing ocean races, enjoying a meal with friends or simply soaking in the sights and sounds of the beach. The club is for members only and not open to the public.
